2003 server. security on shared folders

I have shared out a folder for all users, but would like to set permissions on the sub folders for only some users to be able to have access. What is the proper way to do this?

Revoke the all user share.

Now make a group for your users that you want to allow access, share to that new group. I'm not going to write this any more detailed since this should be in your Server 2003 class notes or even on the web.

Hmm, Where can I go to class?

I would check class notes if I had any. Sorry to bother you with such a trival question. I will check another forum. Maybe they can be helpful.

The Start, Help has this info too.

Part of these forums is not handing out fish but showing where to fish and how to bait the hook.

I noted that you need to create a group so why not use google.com to ask "How do I create a group in Server 2003?"

If you don't do this you are likely to be pink slipped.
