Thank you for responding, The key did not go all the way into the ignition lock and could not turn the tumbler. I tried graphite, but that did not work. I finally called an auto locksmith, he took apart the lock and showed me the pins, they were all caked up with lint. This caused the key from going all the way in and turning the tumbler. This happened over time and the thing to remember is to clean your key every now and then. It was a costley lesson.

Arhh glad to see you got it sorted was gonna surgest the steering wheel lock was on which is like on most cars when you first get into a car, most need for you to turn the wheel inorder for you to unlock the key chamber and allow you to insert the key and turn on the car.
