2003 Jeep Laredo problems

My wife and I recently bought a 2003 jeep Laredo with the 4.0, 2wd. We had it about a week and while driving all the gauges went crazy, air-conditioning quit working, and light comes on and windows won't roll down! When we carry it to have it checked out it acts fine!!!! Does anybody know what the heck is wrong with it? Crankshaft sensor? The brain? Really starting to get to me! My wife drives it mostly for her cleaning business and it does this with her alot! We can disconnect the positive cable and it straightens up for awhile, and then right back to doing what I listed above! Please any help at all will be greatly appreciated!
