2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo

I have a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee that just started to make intermittent ticking noises from the motor? Mainly when its cold. Almost sounds like a lifter or injector? Has anyone else experienced this? Vehicle still seems to run ok. Thanks
