2000 Grand AM GT stalling in Park when warm

Mar 22, 2008 9:13AM PDT

It is a little hard to start when it is cold, usually just have to give it a little throttle. It will rev up really high, around 1500-2000 while in park then die. This happens when it is warm. It will not stall while in Drive or Reverse while sitting at a stop sign or light. I have changed the fuel filter about 6-9 months ago. Recently I changed the fuel pressure regulator because it was leaking. I have also changed the TPS thinking that was the cause. I have checked the ignition coils, the MAP sensor, the IACV, and the EGR valve. I am running out of ideas to check. The car has 131,000 miles on it and it runs great. Could the computer be going bad or the EGR check fine with a multimeter but not be operating properly?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!
