20% restocking fee on defective goods ?!??!!?

Aug 20, 2005 5:57AM PDT

Bought a Jabra bluetooth dongle from Cellhut.com.
The piece would not even work at 1 ft. away from my Samsung D500.

Tried a Logitech BT with the phone and everything works perfectly well !

When I contacted Cellhut support, I learnt that they would charge be 20% restocking fee for the DEFECTIVE piece ! Amazing !! Has anybody heard about a policy like this ! Their website does not clearly explain their policies either !

The package did not seem to be in good condition either ! The clear plastic case seemed to be heat-sealed (though the package was new !!!). I sent them a picture of the package !! There has still been no response ! Maybe they dont want to talk about it !

I have sent the piece to Jabra now ! Would be getting a replacement soon !

Do not buy from these guys !
