Windows 2000 and XP do not co-exist in the same partition. There are articles about such at http://support.microsoft.com so I'd rather not duplicate the reasons why.
Maybe that was not your question? Maybe you just were asking about BOOT.INI and it's boot menu? But it wasn't clear.
And there is NO SUPPORTED METHOD TO REMOVE THE OS on the booting partition. Just so you know.
I have this problem I have two OS in a single partition. Is it ok to this set up?? how can I uninstall or remove the other OS with out affecting the other. example my OS is win 2k and XP I want to remove win 2k... please help!!!
