Jan 4, 2005 4:36AM PST

Hi,

Is it possible to burn two DVD Player compatible movies on a single DVD+R and if so, how?

Thanks!

My suggestion is to use a video editing program

to put the two movies into a single file. A menu to allow a choice of movies would also be useful if the editor supports that option. Burn the results to the DVD.

Note that a DVD only has about 2 hours of recording time if you use normal DVD quality when creating the DVD.

Which editor do you recommend?

Hi Kiddpeat,

Which video editor do you recommend?

Also is it possible to play SVCD on a DVD player?

And if so am I still only capable of recording 2 hours of video?

Thanks,
Mario

I use Sony's Vegas and am familiar with Adobe's

Premiere Pro. Both have additional optional software to set up a menuing system on a DVD. Both are pretty pricey, and I do not have experience with lower priced editors. Two low cost ones are Nero's and Roxio's, and there are others. Perhaps someone else can direct you to low cost options.

SVCD on a DVD player. Check the player. Some do this and some do not.

for putting 2 movies on one dvd? Is it because of space or is it price? A cd does not hold very much svcd formated video..do you know that?
