Question

2 monitor display

Jul 1, 2014 12:07AM PDT

Hey guys!

I have sli gtx 780 ti, yesterday I hooked up my TV to my PC through a HDMI cable so I could use this as a second monitor. It all works fine and I've got it all sorted, but when I checked my gpu temps in speccy. My first gpu was sitting at around 45 degrees C when idle, and my second was at the standard 25-28. Should I be worried about this? I'm worried that when I play a game or something like that my first gpu will overheat. Any ideas?

Thanks all! Grin

Just checked MSIAfterburner and when I have the 2nd display plugged in, my gpu1 core clock is at 810, memory clock at 3499, and power is at 50%. Gpu2 has 324 memory and core clock and 11% power.

U have a beast in the nVidia graphics card that you have. Mine is outdated now and to be true i am jealous of you. Just kidding. Jokes apart I do not think its going to be a issue. Just monitor the temp. reading while playing a game that uses requires high resources like far cry 3 or battlefield 4 . It should be fine. If you can tell me what more about the specs of your system may be i can provide more help.
