Question

2 LG TV's - Antenna Input Suddenly Greyed Out

May 23, 2017 2:42AM PDT

Hi. We recently moved house and trying to use inside antennas while waiting for TV & internet to be connected. They were initially working fine and suddenly the antenna input is greyed out on 2 of our LG TV's. Have tried switching antennas, turning off power, factory reset and nothing. The antennas both work on other TV's.

Any advice on how to get them to recognise the antenna input again? Thank you in advance!

But a common answer is "The reason the tuner "grays out" in the menu is because the TV set is connected to one of your VIDEO INPUTS. You have to set the input to the TV tuner to get it to light up and function."

So the usual is that I need to set the input to antenna and then the item lights up and I can do a channel scan.
