Answer
Can be coverage or settings issues.

It doesn't mean it's one or the other but a clean unlock can result in you having to enter in settings which are specific to your area and should be supplied by Vodafone (not me.)

Does the Vodafone SIM work in unlocked phones? The world of unlocking and SIMs is a nutty one.

Hi
The Vodafone sim works fine in one but not the other. Both were sealed in the boxes brand new.

So it's a warranty issue.

You can try full resets but it's clear that one has an issue.

Sorted

On checking the network settings, the one that was working okay was set to Network Mode "LTE/WCDMA/GSM" (auto connect)
The second phone Network Mode was set to "3G only". Now working fine.
