2 hard drives to 1

Sep 25, 2007 6:25AM PDT

I have a vaio laptop not sure of full spec but it's running XP if that helps. It has 2 hard drives shown in explorer and I want this to become 1 big hard drive so I can keep my music and videos in the same location! Is this possible? and how do i do this?

Cheers

Most of the time this is done with PARTITION MAGIC but some report this breaks the recovery partition and the owner is thrust into a painful (read expensive) situation of paying someone (about 300 bucks) to reinstall the OS.

Thanks for that, I have made some backup discs so that is not a problem. Is there any other program that could do the job for free as everywhere I look partition magic seems to cost something like $24.99, and for one task its not worth me getting I feel.

Believe me. 25 bucks well spent.

I'm going to decline selling it for you. But it is the right software for the task.
