1999 PONTIAC TRAMS AM - NO START

Nov 9, 2008 11:21PM PST

PULLED INTO GAS STATION, SHUT OFF, FILLED WITH GAS, HAS NOT STARTED SINCE. STARTER CHECKS GOOD, BATTERY IS NEW, IGNITION CODE KEY NOT DAMAGED. INSTALLED ONE NEW RELAY, AND NEW IGNITION SWITCH UNDER DASH, ON THE COLUMN, ALL TO NO AVAIL. WHEN YOU TURN KEY TO START, NOTHING HAPPENS EXCEPT THAT THE INDICATORS IN THE DASH COME ON AS NORMAL, THEN GO OUT WHEN KEY TURNED ALL THE WAY TO START POSITION. IS IT POSSIBLE THAT SOMETHING HAS TRIPPED A 'RELAY' OR 'CIRCUIT BREAKER', AND IS NOT RESETTING ? WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THIS CAR ? HAVE LEFT SIT SEVERAL MONTHS DUE TO FRUSTRATION OF THIS.

security problem.... when replacing the ignition module... you need the resister key to be the same both on the column and under dash... here is a link how to fix
