1998 jeep grand cherokee loredo AT 4.0 won't start

Jul 31, 2008 3:53AM PDT

My jeep has a little over 200000 on it. one day I turned it off and the next day I had no start,no check engine light.
I replaced the battery, crank position sensor, checked grounds, fuses, relays and went so far as to hook up a computer with correct cartridges and key to see if we could find an error code. We could access all systems but the engine. (fuel pump, sensors etc) the computer could not communicate with PCM. Changed PCM still nothing.
Checked wires from ignition switch and there is power when key is turned on. What am I missing before I take it in to have a mechanic look at it?

I have had the "non starting thing" with jgc97, not as bad though. Zeroed down to two things:
1.Park-neutral switch
2.Starter relay.
Turned out to be a starter relay.

Good luck!
