1996 Nissan Pathfinder wont crank

Mar 1, 2017 1:20AM PST

Recently I have replaced many parts on my Nissan. I've replaced the distributor, fuel pump, fuel filter, spark plugs, crankshaft sensor, and throttle position sensor. The last part I replaced was the crankshaft sensor and it cranked a few times but when my car got hot it no longer wanted to crank back up. Earlier today when I tried to crank my vehicle it made an awful sound. I want to say it sounded like it was a grinding noise. I'm honestly stuck at this point. My car always sounds like it wants to crank but it's either it cranks right up or makes an awful grinding like sound when trying to start. If anybody has any suggestions please let me know.
