My jeep grand cherokee tsi shakes too. It would shake whenever it felt like it, up hill down hill, turning, hitting the gas hitting the brake. My brother followed me one day and said it looked like the front end was about to fall off. I had a friend of mine drive it and he said it felt like something loose in the front end. we checked and all he found was the ball joints have a little play in them. i can't change it until the weekend, but i'll post if it works.

Mine Shook Too!

I got a 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee for my birthday. It has about 100 thousand miles on it... I too had a problem with shaking. If I hit a bump, no matter how small it was, my steering wheel (and the whole vehicle) would shake uncontrollabley. My husband could not find out what the problem was. All the usual parts were all tight. He greased the joints and it got worse! So after getting under the car and having someone turn the wheel..he noticed that the track bar was clunking.

He replace it and it hasnt shaken since! Its not something that you see unless you are way under there looking up at the engine.
