You described the corrective actions taken so far, but didn't really define your problem. Please provide more info.
Does the motor crank when you turn the key? I assume it does not because you had the battery and starter checked out.
Based on the info provided, I would suspect a short. Do you get a spark when you connect the ground wire to the battery? That would indicate a short.
1995 jeep cherokee, sport 2 door, 2-wheel drive, 4.o liter, straight six, manual.
I?ve gone to Autozone to have the battery check is good (not to mention its BRAND new battery I just had it replaced by warranty because when this happened, my old batter was dead...got a new one, and had the same problem?took it back to have it checked in case of a bad cell and it was still FINE AND NEW (1week new!!)
I also took the starter up there and they tested it as well and it is good, (so therefore being done by people who know at Autozone?both my Starter and Battery are fine?so next solution????)
I even bought a new starter cord 4gage and that is not it, tried some other things from friends told me that know a little about cars and Autozone either I've already done and tried and that?s not the problem.
Checked all fuses? their fine, relays are fine?..all grounds are good. No corrosion in any of the cords. The starter is kicking out it does have enough power?.the engine is not locked up I turned it with a wrench 3 times made sure, even tried to push start is as well?(because it?s a manual truck).
