Question

17in Lenovo z50?

Jan 12, 2015 3:48AM PST

I'm living in Peru right now and several reputable stores are selling a 17in version of the Lenovo z50 i5 for about $875. I cant find anything online about a 17in version, so maybe its South America specific? Also, I'm not sure if that's a good price, but there aren't a lot of good options to choose from here. Thoughts?

Answer
Most likely a typo.

"17.3-in. HD TFT" G70-70/G70-80/Z70-80

The z50 has always been the 15 inch model.

It has to be a typo, but...

That's what I assumed as well, but there are 3 different department stores that all have them. I also saw yesterday that all 3 have 17in versions of the g50 as well, which shouldn't exist either. I'm in need of a new laptop and, if this is a z50, it's the best option here. However, I don't feel comfortable spending that much money until I figure this out.

Then get a photo of that model's full model number.

You can check Lenovo's site about the z50 line as fast as I can.
