17.0" WXGA+ BrightView 1440x900 vs.17.0" WXGA+ Wide Viewing

I am purchasing the HPzd8000 and am torn between the 17.0" WXGA+ Wide Viewing (1440x900) and the 17.0" WXGA+ BrightView 1440x900. I am not sure I understand the difference between the two screens. I currently have a DELL Dimension 4600 with a 17.0" E171FPBb Flat Panel Display and love it for surfing the web, however watching movies is challenging at times. The picture is a bit dark and there?s a glare when the lights are on. Will BrightView help this problem?

first, how much does the "bright view" cost? I think that the Bright View would help, but its pretty hard to compare a regular monitor to a notebooks. If it is more than $50, i wudn't, but if not: Go with it. If it is "too" bright u can tone it down, at least u can with my Inspirion 2200.

Cost of Bright View..

Thanks for the feedback. It's actually included as a free upgrade, along with a free 12 cell lithium ion battery, which is apparently crucial for this notebook as it's considered a power hog. I was just wondering if anyone out there had this screen and could give me some insight as to the picture quality. It would drive me bonkers if it had a glare. Thanks again.
