120 GB 5400 HDD or 120 GB 7200 HDD

by CassDzama / March 14, 2007 4:02 AM PDT

SO its finally time to uprgade my notebook HDD from a 40 Gb 4200 rpm to which either one i stated would be better. I bought a 120 gb 5400 HDD but i am still considering maybe taking it back (since its still in the box) and getting a faster one for a little more dough! I do everything on my notebook except intense power hungry games. Which one is more suited for me?

It may load a little faster but...

The higher RPM drives usually make more heat. If your machine is warm this is going to heat it up more. The 5400 is a nice trade off in most cases. Compare the drive you have (Watts) with your possible 7200.

-> It will not make the game run faster.

Meet the drop-resistant Moto Z2 Force

The Moto Z2 Force is really thin, with a fast processor and great battery life. It can survive drops without shattering.
