Thats up to you. A 1080P is def going to cost your right now and it doesn't look as if anyone is going to broadcast in 1080P anytime soon. Any HDTV should work as long as you have the coverter box to change the signal to 1080I if needed. 1080P will be great for tv's such as LCd's that don't handle fast moving sceens well and will still get the full hd resolution
Is 1080p going to be the standard for the next few years? Should I wait to buy a 1080p television when there are more options and they've, the manufacturers, had time to perfect the technology?
