Question

1080p @ 240fps?

Feb 21, 2012 7:31PM PST

Hi, I am looking for a camera that will shoot video at 1080p @ 240fps?

720p @ 120fps would be ok.

I have a Casio exilim EX-FH 100 that goes up to 1000fps but the resolution is awful even at 120 fps.

Any help would be great.

Many thanks

Richard

Answer
High speed cameras

Digital cameras like the Casio FH 100 can only achieve high speed by reducing the size of the image.
That degrades the image.
They are hobby grade not professional grade.

You have to look toward industrial cameras for what you want.
They are cameras that are used to analyze car wrecks, assembly line failures, etc.
The cost will run into the thousands of dollars.

As far as I know, the only cameras that can capture high speed video in HD are made for professional and industrial use.
