Early adopteers said difference between 1080 I & p would be maybe 5% improvement & that's only as seen side by side with large screen sizes. 1080p is for ultimate gaming & mostly to maximixe high definition DVD watching.
Can someone explain in layman's terms what is the difference between 1080i film and video? Reason I ask is on the TV reviews it lists the two seperate and some TV's have a good rating on one and a poor rating on the other.
I see where most HD broadcasts are sent in either 1080i or 720p format. What's the point of 1080p then?
I can't seem to find any discriptions on what exactly they are referring to with the video vs film.
