1. I have a Hp Pavillion note book model Ze443US, I am using XP Windows that came with it. It has crashed for the 3rd or 4th time. The more I tried to fix it the worse it got. I called tech and we got it up again. We started from ground zero, and reinstalled everything and took it off line and still is. While working on print shop it called for art disc 2. When I put it in it immediatly crashed again. Could a virus have been transmitted from the computer to a preprogramed disc and reinffect the pc. I've since been told that a disc can have a virus that is a threat, but can the computer inffect a preprogramed disc (not a burnt copy, this I donot do, let alone know how)2.I read one of your articles and had trouble with out look express and e-mail. I did not find a "print article" button and got a lot of stuff I didn't want or need, I hope this is all right. However, it would be nice to be able to print just the article, if allowed, and not violating any copy rights.3. I had vcom protection at the time of crashes, prior to that I had norton anti-virus. got vcom and the trouble. Needless to say I went back to norton. Being off line posses another problem, that is getting updates. Being off line, is an anti virus needed?Dennis

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
