Nuff said. It's time to try some USB WIFI adapter. I decline from writing again about that disaster.
We have two laptops at home and they are connected wireless to the router. Recently we have been using one of these computers at a different workplace and have been connecting to their wireless network, the computer seemed to be able to connect fine to both networks until we downloaded a remote desktop connection from the workplace.
Since then we can only connect to the workplace wireless network and not the one at home even though our other computer is connecting fine.
The computer is a HP Pavillion dv6000, running Windows Vista Home Premium.
When we go to connect to the home wireless network we receive a message saying 'view the wireless network security settings on this computer to verify they are compatible with this network'
All the settings seem to be the same for both computers - but im obviously missing something? Can anyone help?
