1 ipod, 2 different itunes libraries?

Feb 9, 2014 9:22AM PST

Can I load songs from 2 different iTunes libraries into 1 iPod? From 2 different accounts?

Load XXX songs from account 1 into my iPod, and then add XXXX songs from account 2 into my iPod?

I don't know whether I am explaining myself correctly....

hmmmm

Let me clarify what I am trying to do.

Let's say I have 16,000 songs in iTunes library #1 (my hubby's account)

And I have 1,000 songs in iTunes library #2 (My account)

And I want to load 3000 songs from iTunes library #1 into my ipod
and 500 songs from iTunes library #2 into my ipod, can i do that?

Can I just connect my ipod to my hubby's itunes library and download the 3000 songs,
and then connect the ipod into my library and download the second set of songs?
All on the same ipod?

I don't want to consolidate the libraries b/c I don't have space for all my hubby's songs in my PC. Plus I don't even want all of his songs.

I think you know the answers.

I am tossing ways to get to the end. You could create a third library with the help of iRip. And then you keep your own library.

Two computers?

Something not made clear to begin with.

The short answer is do it the way Bob says.

A Sync with the iPod is a one way street when it comes to music.

When you attach your iPod to your hubby's computer and sync the iPod, ALL the tracks that are not in his library will be deleted from the iPod.
