0x800c013e error in Win Live Mail

I got a new Win 7 computer with Win Live Mail 2011 installed. After xferring my emails from my Win XP machine, I get the subject error ONLY WHEN trying to download new mail from my Hotmail/Live/MSN accounts. ALL OTHER email accounts (POP, IMAP) download new email OK. I tried deleting/installing one of my Hotmail accounts & no luck. I tried deleting WLM 2011 and installing WLM 2009 -- same problem. Any ideas?
