The 0x5a issue is expected if the base machine has issues. The CMOS settings loss can load defaults that are not correct so ask the machine's maker for those settings and try again.
About two weeks ago I was having problems with my PC, nothing serious so I decided to restore it back a few weeks and when it was doing that process it froze and I waited a few hours and it stayed froze so I made the bad choice to just cut the power and turn it back on. When booting back up all was going fine until I got to the windows loading screen then it froze and a BSOD appeared and the error code thing was "0x0000005a" then my PC restarts and does the same proccess. I looked up how to fix this error and it said to boot from safe mode, so upon starting my PC back up i pressed f8 to get into the advanced boot options to start it in safe mode but instead of getting advanced boot options i get "CMOS checksum error - Defaults loaded" with a blue box that says "POST error occurs!" and gives the options of profile, success boot record last good, success boot record 1, 2, and 3. How can i fix this? I am running on windows 7, i have an asrock mobo, 8 gb ram, and a geforce gts 250.
