'02 Cherokee Engine stalling/won't start

Aug 23, 2007 4:57AM PDT

I have a 2002 Cherokee 4.0 with 67K miles. For the past couple of days it has died a couple of times commuting to and from work. It would start up immediately or after a couple of minutes. This morning I went to start it and the engine turned over fine, but it would not start.
It seems to me that this is an issue related to fuel delivery since all of the other electronics kept working when the engine would die. Has anyone else experienced similar problems? Any ideas would be very helpful. Thanks.

Jeep did not make a 2002 Cherokee.

(Besides, this is CNET, a tech site. If you have a mechanical issue, wrong site.)

There've been a lot of problems with '96 '97 JGCs with the 4.0L engine stalling. A solution has been found. Will it help you? I don't know, but give it a read.
