I agree, Andrea. No reason to have that button there. You'd add a New Discussion from the main thread list, not from inside a thread!

This sort of thing can wait until the search is working - don't you think Cindi?

Hi, Steve.

I agree search is a lot more important -- but implementing it would take a LOT more scarce programming resources than either eliminating or moving that button.

I was afraid you would say that Dave - that sort of update usually takes quite a bit of programming

Actually I think we better accept that what you see is what you'll get.

Glad we got the forums peroid.

And know Lee and possibly a few others have and still are really trying to improve things.

But I'm afraid that internet freebies are going to become more and more scarce, from forums everywhere to freeware/shareware to possibly even the search engines.

Companies are asking what good is this doing us? and not liking the answers.

I read that micro$oft had there eyes on google - They would probably make us pay to use it then

I just hope the other search machines don't follow suit -
It does cost web site owners money to get their sites on the major search machines anyway, so google for instance would already receive some income from it.

Hi,

This was meant to be a reply to Andrea, whose post was to be a reply to Angeline. I guess I must have hit the wrong button too, leaving 3 threads instead of 3 posts in a thread.

Shucks.

I thought you were demonstrating what can happen by accident with that button Cindi - :)
