There are some gadgets that it never pays to cheap-out on: Budget robot vacuums are usually more trouble than they're worth, for example. But these touchless foaming soap dispensers? In our ad hoc testing, even the most budget-priced models seem to work just fine, and we've written about this particular model from Ruyilam in the past. It's usually priced at $30 but can often be found selling for around $20. Right now, you can apply promo code YFOYOBC9 to get the Ruyilam touchless foaming soap dispenser for $10.50 -- 65% off and the lowest price we've yet seen for this model.

Thanks to the pandemic, touchless gadgets are more important than ever. Just wave your hand under the IR sensor on the dispenser and you'll get a luscious handful of foamy soap. The Ruyilam runs on four AA batteries (which are not included) and foams up soap if you use a ratio of about 1:3 with water, though you can probably push it as far as 1:5 and still get good results -- do some experimenting on your own. Soap is cheap.

The dispenser has a rating of IPX4, which means it can handle the usual exposure to water in the kitchen or bathroom. It also holds a lot of soap with a 14-ounce capacity.

This deal should run through April 9.
