Yes, Amazon Prime Day is a giant 2-day sales event that hits on July 15 and 16 this year. And Walmart is one of several retailers having its own counter-Prime Day sale. But you don't have to wait until then to save on TVs: both Amazon and Walmart have some nice sales on a wide range of TVs right now, at sizes all the way up to 75-inch behemoths.
Yes, most of these are 2018 models, but don't worry: You're getting a much better deal, and many of the newer models have only incremental picture quality improvements.

This 60 incher from Hisense boasts a 4K resolution, HDR and Roku. You'd be hard pressed to find a 60-inch TV for less what this Hisense is currently selling for.
CNET Reviews loved the image quality of this midrange 4K Bravia model, with its deep black levels, accurate color, solid video processing and very good high dynamic range performance.
