Apple TV 4K with Siri Remote
Apple

It's Cyber Monday and one of the best Apple TV deals of the year has returned for the online sale. If you want to spend the absolute least possible on an Apple TV this holiday season, the Apple TV HD is down to just $59 at Walmart right now, returning to the lowest it has ever gone there. If you haven't upgraded to a 4K TV yet or just need an easy-to-use streamer for a guest room, it's a great pickup at this price -- though we expect supplies could run thin soon.

Your $59 gets you the streaming box as well as the upgraded Siri Remote from 2021, though the actual Apple TV hardware is the same as the 2017 model. It's running an A8 chip which would be outdated by phone standards today, but is still perfectly snappy for navigating between streaming apps and the device includes an Ethernet connection -- something you have to pay extra for in the 2022 model.

In our Apple TV HD review from 2021, CNET's Eli Blumenthal questioned why this device still existed at its $149 retail price, but it's a much more attractive option at only $59. The device was actually discontinued by Apple in 2022 with the launch of a new 4K model meaning that the remaining stock at third-party retailers is all that's left of the device in new condition.

If you plan to play intensive games or want to futureproof your setup, it might be worth spending the extra for the 4K model at $95 with its upgraded internals or you could opt for the newest 2022 Apple TV 4K
