Taco Bell has signed on as the first promotional partner for the launch of Microsoft's upcoming Xbox game console. Taco Bell will aggressively publicize Xbox and offer major in-store promotions to support the Xbox launch, according to a joint statement.
GMR Marketing, which focuses on music and entertainment marketing, orchestrated the alliance. Microsoft plans to spend $500 million to market Xbox, which is expected to hit U.S. store shelves this fall.
