Yahoo-Microsoft talks continue

Yahoo shares rise after President Sue Decker says during Advertising 2.0 conference that the company remains "engaged" in discussions with Microsoft, according to a CNBC report.

Yahoo President Sue Decker says the Internet company remains in "engaged" in "ongoing" discussions with Microsoft, according to a CNBC report Wednesday.

Decker, who is serving as a keynote speaker at Advertising 2.0 in New York, reportedly made those comments during the event.

Shares of Yahoo were up 2 percent to $26.68 in early-market trading. The broader markets are mixed.

Decker, meanwhile, is scheduled to appear on CNBC's "Power Lunch" at 9 a.m. PDT later Wednesday morning.
