In a catch-up move on competitors, Micron Electronics on Monday began offering Intel's Pro/Wireless 2011 LAN products. Micron is selling the wireless PC Card for $170 and access point for $700. With 802.11B wireless, notebook users can move from cubicle to conference room without cables and still maintain a connection to corporate networks or the Internet. While Micron for now is offering an add-on option, Apple Computer and Dell Computer, among others, have shifted to offering integrated 802.11B wireless.
