Economic Reports Tuesday, Oct. 7 Consumer Credit is the total level of debt held by U.S. consumers. The August total is expected to remain flat at $6 billion, compared with the previous month. Friday, Oct. 10 The Consumer Price Index is one of most significant measures of inflation, monitoring the decline or fall of the price of a fixed basket of consumer goods and services. September growth is expected to fall to 0.1 percent, from 0.4 percent in the previous period.
