It's almost the weekend, which is always exciting for everyone, but we've got some news items to attend to before scattering off. First, Amazon dropped the Echo, a cloud-connected assistant that lives in a cylindrical speaker that looks like a Pringles can. Then, we check out Jimmy Kimmel's hologram, used to host both his late night show in Los Angeles and CMA interviews in Nashville simultaneously. Last, we get a kick out of some Auber-connected ballet slippers that track pressure and movement to help dancers learn more about their abilities.
We're also geeking out about Blizzcon, which starts tomorrow. Anything you want us to check out on the show floor?
