This 'smart' hair extension should be in a James Bond movie (Tomorrow Daily 160)

On today's show, Ashley and Khail mention a new company testing out Internet drones, enjoy a trip around the world via the majesty of 3D projection technology and figure out if "smart hair" is better used for safety or espionage.

It's Monday, and to help soothe your post-weekend downer, we're here with a wheelbarrow full of stories. We didn't want to say a truckload, because that would be misleading. Nobody wants to be disappointed on a Monday, you know?

We begin with the news that Facebook isn't the only company out there testing Internet drones; Quarkson is also sending small prototype models into the sky, hoping to give rural villages access to the Internet. There's also a very cool Airbnb installation at SingaPlural, a design festival in Singapore. The hut looks simple on the outside, but offers 3D projection technology inside to transform the room's look into four real, rentable locations around the globe.

Lastly, we're taking a look at what researcher and creator Katia Vega is calling "Hairware." It's a small hair extension with capacative touch capabilities built in, offering the wearer a subtle way to send commands to their smartphone. Someone get James Bond on the phone, because this sounds like an invention straight out of Q's lab.
