Take-Two buys game developer

Game publisher Take-Two Interactive Software announced has acquired Vancouver, Canada-based game developer Barking Dog Studios for $3 million in cash and 242,450 shares of Take-Two stock. Barking Dog, which mainly works on military simulation games, will become a subsidiary of Rockstar Games, the in-house development studio responsible for the current smash "Grand Theft Auto 3."
