Just when a movie can't get any better, a hero grabs a sword. That's when you know an epic duel is about to begin. Superheroes, assassins, pirates, gladiators, warriors and even Batman has had to defend him or herself with an imposing blade (or a lightsaber) at one point or another.

In this movie montage made by editor Clara Darko, we see over 60 duels from famous films combined into one awesome battle in this entertaining, action-packed video supercut.

Some of the famous sword battles are from films such as "The Princess Bride," "Gladiator," "Conan the Barbarian," "The Mask of Zorro," "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest," "Hellboy 2," "The Duelists," "Blade," "Highlander," "Willow," "Matrix Reloaded," "Monty Python and the Holy Grail," "Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves," "The Crow," "Hook," "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," "Army of Darkness," "300," "The Fellowship of the Ring" and "Excalibur," among others.

And plenty of martial arts movies are given a nod, like "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon," "House of Flying Daggers," "Seven Samurai," and "Kill Bill," to name a few.

Plus don't forget lightsaber battles in all six "Star Wars" films. Even movies that aren't exactly known for their action sequences, such as "Dangerous Liaisons," also get a shout out.
