STMicroelectronics to shed graphics chips

Leading European chipmaker STMicroelectronics announced Friday that it is pulling out of the graphics chip business, which accounted for only $15 million of the company's $6.36 billion in revenue last year. The company said it will try to find a buyer for its graphic chip assets.
