If lightsabers radiate brilliant, luminous colors, why can't the entire trailer for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" glow as well?
YouTube user and digital artist Neonardo posted this homage to the upcoming "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" film from J.J. Abrams, which details every scene from the trailer but reimagined in neon lights.
The effect feels like a New Wave music video from the '80s, but remains entertaining all the same. Through each scene, whether it's the astromech dome balancing on the rolling ball or the menacing lineup of Stormtroopers, the video gives "Star Wars" an added sense of retro nostalgia.
If "Tron" and "Star Wars" mixed into one movie, this would be the trailer. We can't wait to see which movie Neonardo pays tribute to next. May we suggest "Blade Runner"?
