As if you haven't seen it at least thrice already, your chance of watching "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" again, this time in the comfort of your own home, is coming in April. It'll be available as an HD download April 1 and as a DVD or Blu-ray combo pack on April 5.
Some of the bonus features include a documentary on the making of the film and deleted scenes, as well as in-depth looks into the creation of BB-8 and Kylo Ren and Rey's lightsaber duel. Fans should note that bonus digital content varies by retailer.
Some retailers will carry limited-edition packages of the Blu-ray combo pack that come with a little something extra.
Target will offer:
- exclusive packaging
- never-before-seen interviews with Daisy Ridley and John Boyega
- "a deeper look at the movie's costumes and weaponry"
Walmart will have exclusive:
- BB-8 packaging
- Star Wars Galactic Connexions trading disc
Lastly there's Best Buy, which will feature an exclusive steelbook packaging.
No word on price yet, but considering "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" killed at the box office (it's currently the No. 3 film of all time, worldwide), I highly doubt the price would matter.
