"Sims" creator to be honored

The Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences, a professional group representing game developers, will induct "The Sims" creator Will Wright into its Hall of Fame next month. Wright, who also created the "SimCity" series of games, is co-founder of Maxis, one of the leading developers of PC games. Wright will be recognized at the Academy's annual awards ceremony Feb. 28 in Las Vegas.
