Netpliance said today that it has hired Francis S. "Kit" Webster III to replace its chief financial officer, Barbara Kaczynski. Webster is the former CFO of Intelliquest Information Group in Austin, Texas. Netpliance said Kaczynski, who was commuting between her home in Vermont and Netpliance's headquarters in Austin, will pursue work closer to the Northeast. Earlier this month, Netpliance named former AT&T Wireless executive Valerie Walden as its first chief operating officer.
