National Semiconductor said this week that it has created a $20 million charitable endowment to improve education in communities where it has a major presence. Santa Clara, Calif.-based National Semi plans to fund programs aimed at improving science, math and technology curriculum in K-12 classrooms, as well as supporting university programs related to technology.
