Short Take: Motorola sponsors design contest for processors

To encourage design engineers, researchers and students, Motorola on Tuesday announced a contest that pays $2,000 for producing and describing design applications using Motorola's 56800 family of digital signal processors. The program, with a total purse of $100,000, is intended to generate and encourage creative, real-life products with Motorola's standard DSP products.
