Short Take: Micron adds Internet services

PC maker Micron Electronics yesterday announced it bought Micron Internet services, an ISP, from Micron Technology, the memory chipmaker which owns a majority interest in the PC company. The transfer of the ISP will help Micron beef up its connectivity and other services it is offering to customers, said Micron CEO Joel Kocher. The company also recently bought HostPro, a Web design outfit.
