Was "Jurassic World" too scary for your brain to handle? Was it missing something, a cookie or two perhaps? Or maybe you'd just rather reminisce over your favorite moments from the original "Jurassic Park" movie, but with Muppets?
"Sesame Street" knows exactly what we crave -- a "Jurassic Park" parody with Muppets called "Jurassic Cookie," starring the decades-old fuzzy blue character Cookie Monster.
The franchise's most recent sequel "Jurassic World," starring the considerably less fuzzy Chris Pratt, shattered opening weekend box office records with a $524.4 million debut worldwide. In the "Sesame Street" remake of the 1993 classic that started it all, we see Cookie Monster as a brilliant scientist (no, really!) who has decided to open up the world's first cookie theme park full of giant cookies made from prehistoric crumbs.
Except his park has a few chips in the otherwise flawless plan: A giant dinosaur cookie escapes and runs around the park terrorizing innocent Muppets. We're not sure which is scarier, the idea of a living giant dinosaur cookie or the fact that Cookie Monster can drive a Jeep!
The jurassic cookie wears a bow tie and sounds an awful lot like Pee-Wee Herman when he roars. Our favorite part is when Cookie Monster and his grandkids reenact the creepy raptors-in-the-kitchen scene from the original Steven Spielberg flick.
In order to save themselves, Cookie Monster and the kids must figure out a message from a warning sign missing a few key letters of the alphabet. But in the end, who's really more in danger, Cookie Monster or the giant dino cookie? Watch and find out!
